Grave Yard stands on a south-facing slope in County Kilkenny beside the medieval White Church, its rounded north-east corner catching light from both swinging horizons. People still buried there after 1839, and every stone visible by 1994 dated from the nineteenth century onward, suggesting the older dead vanished beneath soil or memory rather than leaving no trace at all. The small sub-square space feels less like a forgotten ruin than a patient keeper, waiting for someone to notice what it has been holding since before records began.

On a S-facing slope, with good views to the SW and NE. A small sub-square graveyard (int. dims. c. 34m), the NE corner of which is rounded. It is associated with a medieval church (KK027-038001-) called, ‘White Church’. The OS Letters (1839) noted, ‘a small graveyard still in use at this place’ (O’Flanagan 1930, vol. 2, 89-90 (29)).
