It occupies the outer edge of a rocky shelf on a north-facing slope, where a subrectangular area measures roughly forty by thirty-one metres. A masonry wall one to one-point-four metres high defines most of the boundary, while the northeast edge curves along the perimeter of a larger grass-covered ecclesiastical enclosure. The church stands at the western angle of this grave yard.
