Grave Yard

Carrick graveyard situated in gently undulating pasture. Sub-triangular-shaped area (approx. dims. 50m N-S x 56m E-W) with Carrick church ruins (WM026-083----) standing in N quadrant, enclosed by post-1700 stone wall. Burial place of Fr. Timothy Shanley who died in 1835 located to E of church ruins now frequented by visitors who have left votive offerings over the grave. According to local information Fr.
