What is recorded here
Haroldstown Grave Yard in County Carlow is a rare diamond-shaped enclosure, roughly 42 metres across, with a church in the western sector and generations of burials compressed into its raised heart. The shape suggests measurement rather than chance, as if someone set a boundary for death before asking where the living should gather. That clarity still stands beside the castle and possible abbey, giving the town a older spine than its small streets first reveal.
Roughly diamond-shaped graveyard (map dims. c. 42m N-S; c. 43m E-W) with a church (CW022-017001-) in the W sector.
