Attached five-bay three-storey grain store or warehouse, extant 1881, on a rectangular plan. Renovated, ----, to accommodate alternative use. Replacement pitched artificial slate roof with ridge tiles, concrete or rendered coping to gables, and uPVC rainwater goods on red brick header bond eaves. Repointed wall to front (north) elevation originally rendered with benchmark-inscribed rough hewn granite flush quoins to corners; fine roughcast surface finish (remainder) with rendered flush strips to corners. Square-headed window openings in camber-headed recesses with concrete sills, and repointed red brick block-and-start surrounds framing replacement casement windows. Lane fronted on a corner site with concrete footpath to front.

A grain store or warehouse representing an integral component of the mid nineteenth-century industrial heritage of New Ross: meanwhile, a discreet benchmark remains of additional interest for the connections with cartography and the preparation of maps by the Ordnance Survey (established 1824).
