What is recorded here
Gráinne Seoige was born in An Spidéal, County Galway, on 5 November 1973, the eldest of four children raised in that small Galway town before she carried its voice across every major Irish television channel. She anchored the first TG4 news bulletin on Halloween 1996, later stood alone through seven hours of live coverage when planes struck New York, and still reads the news in Irish with a clarity that makes the language sound young instead of precious. An Spidéal gave her up, watched her leave, and kept her name in local mouths because she never stopped sounding like someone who knew what it was to be small, listened carefully, and spoke back without fear.
