Glencar Isd.

At the E end of Glencar Lough. The eastern crannog in Glencar Lough, then known as Glen Dallain, was disputed by two branches of the O'Rourke in 1541 (AFM vol. 5, 1463-5). This feature is an oval grass and scrub-covered island (dims 14m E-W; 5m N-S; H 0.2m) with no evidence of artificial construction.
