In undulating pastureland and limestone pavement. Hachured and named 'Glasha Fort’ on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Named ‘Glasha Fort (Site of)’ on the 1897 OS 25-inch plan. This levelled subcircular cashel (est. diam. c. 30m) is defined by a very slight and intermittent scarp, partly visible in satellite imagery (OSi MapGenie 2013-2018). This cashel was destroyed at some point after 1878 (Westropp 1905, 355).

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
