Situated near the top of a ridge in undulating pasture. Poorly-preserved, the remains appear to be those of a gallery, at least 4.20m long, aligned SW-NE. Two orthostats, 1.40m apart at the SW, may mark the gallery entrance. A third orthostat alongside the southern of these may have formed part of a flat facade. A sidestone stands 1.70m E of the northern entrance stone. A number of displaced stones lie close to the structure which is surrounded by a small, low mound. The tomb must remain unclassified though there are indications that it may be a wedge-tomb. de Valera and O Nuallain 1972, 121, No 20. Volume III. Counties Galway, Roscommon, Leitrim, Longford, Westmeath, Laoighis, Offaly, Kildare, Cavan. (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1972).
