What is recorded here

Gate Castle is a sea cliff composed primarily of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340 to 320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The cliff is notable for its exposure of fossil-rich rock layers, which provide evidence of ancient reef systems and contribute to the geological understanding of the region’s paleoenvironment.
