Explorer Tom Garristown Church is now in ruins, which is its favourite state because it doesn’t have to host anyone for dinner anymore. It’s proud of its castellated parapet, even if the roof is mostly gone. Bring sandwiches, the gulls will thank you for not being polite.
Explorer Tom Church in Garristown stands on an elevated position and probably thinks it's a king. It was built in 1888, so it's only a baby compared to the medieval stuff nearby. Snap one photo, then put the phone away and actually look.
Architectural fragment in GarristownArchitectural fragment · 23 ydComputer-made pictureExplorer Tom Architectural fragment in Garristown is a rainwater chute reused as a grave marker, which is very practical and slightly gross. It’s from the medieval church and has seen things. Tell your mates you found it first before they see the 3D model online and feel like tourists.
Grave YardGraveyard · 26 ydExplorer Tom Graveyard in Garristown. A large rectangular enclosure with a post-1700 wall surrounds this elevated village spot. The oldest slabs are in the south, while a fragment of a fifteenth-century effigy now rests safely in the library.

Newtown HillMountain / peak · 1.7 miExplorer Tom Newtown Hill is visible from Fort Pnd Hill and looks like a standard peak. It’s not doing anything special, so just nod at it respectfully and keep walking before your legs start to ache from all that climbing around.
The story of the milk standMemorial · 2.3 miExplorer Tom The story of the milk stand has caught my eye in County Meath. I bet a memorial with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.

Fingal AllotmentsGarden · 2.9 miComputer-made pictureExplorer Tom Fingal Allotments in County Dublin are probably where Fingal grows his vegetables. No accounts mean he might still be there, tending to his potatoes. Check if any cabbages look angry. If so, apologize for the lack of sunlight.
