Gallán (1938

Standing stone

What is recorded here

Gallán is a standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, recorded in 1938. It still rises from the ground after centuries of rain and foot traffic. People may have set it, touched it, or simply passed it without knowing its age. The stone remains clear while human memory blunts.
