Gallán is a subrectangular standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, rising 1.66 metres above rough grazing on a southeast-facing slope. Packing stones remain visible at its base, suggesting deliberate placement rather than natural collapse. The stone aligns almost east-west, a direction that may have marked seasonal light, travel routes or ceremonial sightlines. Its absence from nineteenth-century maps does not diminish its presence; it simply means human attention reached it later.

Not shown on 1842 and 1903 OS 6-inch maps. In rough grazing, on SE-facing slope. Stone (H 1.66m; 1.03m x 0.58m) is subrectangular in plan, with packing stones visible at base. Long axis almost E-W.
