What is recorded here

Gallán was a single standing stone on a south-facing slope in County Cork, marked on maps by 1938 but removed around 1984. It stood in reclaimed pasture, visible enough to survey yet absent from earlier charts, suggesting human hands shaped its discovery as much as its loss.
