Gallán is a rectangular standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, rising 1.25 metres above rough grazing on a south-east-facing slope. It escaped notice on both the 1842 and 1903 Ordnance Survey maps, hiding in plain sight among sheep and bracken. Someone set it upright deliberately, perhaps to mark a boundary, honour a dead person or guide travellers through difficult terrain. The stone has stood longer than most human memories, patient and unshaken while empires rose and fell around it.

Not shown on 1842 and 1903 OS 6-inch maps. In rough grazing, on SE-facing slope. Stone (H 1.25m; 1.04m x 0.5m) is rectangular in plan, long axis ENE-WSW.
