Gallán is a vanished standing stone in County Cork, recorded only in a published inventory and absent from the grassy slope where it once stood. The land may have swallowed the stone, erased it, or hidden it beneath roots and rain. Whatever happened, the name still points to a vertical mark that human hands set against the sky.
