In pasture, atop knoll. Depicted on 1936 OS 6-inch map immediately to S of Man-made underground passage (CO054-021002-). McCarthy (1977, 179) records 'stone standing upright in field where entrance to site (Man-made underground passage CO054-021002-) was located'. No visible surface trace. Levelled circular enclosure (CO054-021001-) noted in aerial photograph (CASAP) surrounds both standing stone and Man-made underground passage.
