Gallán stood in rough Cork grazing, a subrectangular stone nearly fourteen hands high with its long axis stretched east to west. By 2004 the stone had vanished, erased from the field without ceremony or witness. Whatever boundary, memory or marker it held for the people who passed it was lost with its removal, leaving only an empty patch of grass where the stone had stood.

In rough grazing. Stone (H 1.39m; 0.95m x 0.27m) is subrectangular in plan, long axis E-W. It was noted in 2004 that this standing stone has been removed (Carroll 2007, 43, no. 190).
