In pasture. Quartz boulder (2.64m x 1.68m; 1.45m T) resting on support stone to W and on bed of smaller stones; quartz stone lies under E side. Standing stone (CO0125-025---) once stood close by. A portal dolmen dating to the Neolithic period. Its significance lies in its construction using large quartz stones, a feature common in megalithic tombs of the Boyne Valley region, indicating early ceremonial or funerary practices.
