Man-made underground passage in Clonleigh

In ringfort (CO125-009001-). Cremen (1924, 72) records 'what appeared to be a Man-made underground passage extending from the lios in the form of a slightly raised path running a considerable distance through the field to where a number of pillar stones are (CO125-010---). We tested the pathway with a crowbar and found it covered a hollow space and was no doubt a Man-made underground passage'. No visible surface trace; may have been a flagged drain.
