In marshy ground. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (18.8m NE-SW; 13.6m NW-SE; H 1.6m); opening (Wth 4.8m) faces NNW. Mound cut by field fence on SE side. One of a group of three fulachta fiadh (11493, 11494). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
