Inaccessible, due to heavily overgrown marsh. Walsh (1985, 68, 130, no. 132) records irregular mound (L 10m; Wth 8m; H 0.8m) in overgrown marsh. Second fulacht fiadh (CO085-047---) at N end of same field. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
