In marshy ground, adjacent to road. Semicircular mound of burnt material (13.9m NE-SW; 11.5m NW-SE; H 1.4m); surface uneven. Mound possibly disturbed by roadworks. Second fulacht fiadh (11494) c. 80m to SW and third (11495) c. 50m to SE.
