In coniferous forest. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (19m x 18m; H 1.7m); opening (Wth 4m) faces N. Surface of mound planted with trees. One of two fulachta fiadh (11434) recorded by Bowman (1934, 133) on P. Duane's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
