Fulacht Fiadh

In pasture, immediately N of well (now drained). Low mound of burnt material just NE of where site is indicated on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Probably one of ten fulachta fiadh (see 10675) recorded by Bowman (1934, 385-6). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
