In pasture, c. 30m NE of stream. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (11m N-S; 9.4m E-W; H 0.8m); opening (Wth 6.7m) faces W. Probably the fulacht fiadh recorded by Bowman (1934, 449) on M. Murphy's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
