A wooden trough and stones were found at 'Bonane, near Kenmare' in 1943 (NMI). Bonane is not a townland in Co. Kerry. This fulacht fia has not been precisely located. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
