What is recorded here
In the 1940s a fulacht fia measuring '8yds [7.31m] by 6yds [5.48m] by 4 yds [3.65m]' was recorded in John McCarthy's land (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). It has not been precisely located and it is possible that it is in that part of the townland on OS 6-inch map 68.
