Fulacht fia in Killoran (Moyne parish) is a fulacht fia in Killoran (Moyne parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. Topsoil stripping revealed a ploughed-out spread of burnt material 7.6 metres north to south and 6.7 metres east to west, covering an oblong trough 1.76 metres long, 1.04 metres wide and 0.37 metres deep. The trough held fire-cracked stone and charcoal on flat, poorly drained land that had become overgrown with bog.
Situated on flat poorly drained land which was overgrown by bog with nearby fulachtaí fia (TN036-050023/031) 90m N and 110m to the SW respectively. The site was revealed during topsoil stripping and consisted of a ploughed-out spread (dims. 7.6m N-S x 6.7m E-W x 0.01m D) of burnt material covering an oblong trough (dims. L 1.76m x Wth 1.04m x D 0.37m) containing a fill of burnt material material consisting of fire-cracked stone and charcoal. (Stevens 2000, 199) Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien.
