Killavoy holds a burnt mound twenty metres long beside a holy well, marking one of Ireland’s oldest kitchens where water boiled over heated stones. The SE edge has surrendered to a cutting stream, hiding part of the circular enclosure beneath pasture and burial ground. People may have gathered there to cook, clean tools or prepare food for the dead, trusting the well nearby to refresh what fire took.

In pasture, and within N half of burial ground (14122). Irregular mound of burnt material (22m N-S; 16m E-W); SE side, cut by stream, obscures NW side of circular enclosure (13579).
