Enclosure in Glen North

Depicted as hachured rectangular enclosure (c. 30m ESE-WNW; c. 25m NNE-SSW) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, truncated on SSW side by roadway. In pasture, on S-facing slope. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 241) as levelled square fort (side c. 27yd) on Mrs. Sexton's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
