Fulacht fia in Killavallig

In boggy ground, c. 100m W of stream. Low subcircular mound of burnt material (L 17m; Wth 16m; H 0.7m). Immediately to NW is smaller, though higher, mound of burnt material, possibly redeposited from main mound. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
