Fulacht fia in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In rough pasture, on a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. A well-defined horseshoe-shaped mound (10m NW-SE; 10m NE-SW; H 0.8m) of burnt material on the SE bank of a stream. The opening (Wth 1.8m) faces NW. The stream has exposed the mound material at the end of the E arm. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
