Fulacht fia in Gortavehy West

On N-facing slope, on E bank of stream. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L 12m; Wth 8m; H 1m); opening faces W; terminals of mound truncated by pathway. Burnt material visible in section of stream bank. Levelled when revisited November 1993. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
