On rough mountain grazing, overlooking Owennagloor River. Partially overgrown, roughly horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (11.2m NE-SW; 13.2m NW-SE; H 1m); opening (Wth 2m) faces W; surrounded by waterlogged ground. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
