What is recorded here

The site is located at the southern edge of a wet rushy field, that slopes gradually downwards to the west and is immediately adjacent to a deep field ditch. It consists of a level dry oval area and measures 9.4m N-S by 8.6m E-W. One of the forest field drains has clipped the burnt spread on its western side and in the section it can be seen to be at least 0.43m in thickness. There is no surface indication of a trough.
