Fulacht fia in Derrynacaheragh

In rough hill pasture, in a hollow on a S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Feabunaun stream and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE102-062007-). A horseshoe-shaped grass-covered mound (10m NW-SE; 9m NE-SW; H 2.4m) of burnt material on the NE bank of a stream. The opening (Wth c. 4.5m) faces SW. There is another fulacht fia (KE102-062012-) c. 20m to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
