In improved pasture, on a gentle SW-facing slope. A fulacht fiadh (TS063-054----) is located c. 250m to the NE. Identified as a levelled fulacht fia during investigations on the Cork-Dublin gas pipeline (1981-2) (Cleary et al 1987, 7). It is not visible at ground level.
