Fulacht fia in Carhoo Lower

In marshy ground. Overgrown oval mound of burnt material (L 15.6m; Wth 20.4m; H 1.5m); opening (Wth 16.2m) faces SE. Second fulacht fiadh (CO072-034---) c. 150m to NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
