Con Sullivan's land in Bawnmore North held a fulacht fia, but nobody knows where the stones sat before August 1932. Cork County Council tore the ancient cooking pit apart and scattered its rocks across the passage to Kilmacoo church and graveyard. The hot water basin vanished into ordinary roadwork, leaving only a ghost of heat buried under cartwheel ruts and forgotten purpose.

Bowman (1934, 393) recorded a fulacht fiadh on Con Sullivan's land. Exact location not known. In August 1932, stones were taken from fulacht fiadh in Mr O'Sullivan's land and spread over passage to Kilmacoo church and graveyard (14398; 14546) by Cork Co. Council (ibid. 394).
