What is recorded here
In pastureland. When originally visited in December 1982, this possible fulacht fia was visible as a small irregular mound within a turlough lake. Black earth and burnt cracked limestone were evident. Another fulacht fia (GA103-048001-) was visible on the W edge of the lake. On re-inspection in June 1992 the turlough was still risen but no visible trace of the mound was evident.
