Freestanding Hiberno Romanesque-style memorial, unveiled 1928, on a square plan. Repositioned, 2001. Set in park.
A memorial designed by Thomas Scully (1869-1946/7) commemorating '17 OFFICERS AND 160 NCOs AND MEN OF THE 4TH BATTALION LEINSTER REGEMENT (ROYAL QUEEN’S COUNTY REGIMENT) WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR'. A later panel commemorates 'ALL IRISHMEN AND IRISHWOMEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN ALL WARS AT HOME AND ABROAD AND ON U.N. SERVICE'.
