Half a metre of scarp, a breath of a wall, and yet the shape holds. Thirty metres across on a ridge top in Leitrim, the fort keeps its outline while surrendering its entrance. Maybe the field bank swallowed the gap, or maybe the gap never needed building because the slope itself was the door.

Located towards the top of the S-facing slope of a ridge. This is a grass-covered oval platform (dims. 33.5m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.45m at W to 0.8m at SE) SE-W-N and the perimeter may be incorporated into a N-S field banks at E. There is no visible fosse and the original entrance is not identified. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
