What is recorded here

Located on the NW-facing slope of a NE-SW drumlin ridge. This is an overgrown circular area (int. diam. c. 25m) defined by an earthen bank (at NE: Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.5m; max. ext. H 1.1m), with a slight external fosse (Wth 2m) visible at NE. The original entrance is not identified. Rath (LE027-103----) is c. 50m tot he SE. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
