Formerlakill Childrens Bur. Gd. marks a children's burial ground in County Clare, Ireland. The name itself is a wound, forcing us to see the dead as people rather than points on a map. No further detail is recorded, but the absence does not diminish the tragedy. It preserves the shock of discovering that ordinary ground may hold extraordinary loss.
