Former Monfad Fairy Fort — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

The land here has been extensively reclaimed and there is no trace of the 'Fort' marked on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch maps. It was situated in good land on the NW slope of Taylors Hill. This seems to be the cropmark indicated on the aerial photograph (St. Joseph, ARV 52). The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
