Mages and clever folk occupied the Fort before people arrived. The claim appears in the old library, not in the land, while the Fort itself has disappeared from the place entirely.

There is no trace of the oval single-ringed 'Fort' shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. It was situated on the N slope of Benniwee on currently cultivated land.
