Former Clooney Graveyard vanished beneath modern buildings at the southwest end of Tramore Strand, erasing both the burial ground and its nearby church built around 1724. The shore once held dead bodies and living prayers, but human hands have since buried that memory under walls and streets. What remains is a absent address, a place that existed only in the accounts of others and in the shape of the land before it was taken.

No trace of this graveyard marked on the OS 6-inch maps survives. It was associated with a nearby church (DG064-008-) which was built c. 1724 and no evidence of which survives either. The area, at the SW end of Tramore Strand close to the shore, is now built on. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
