What is recorded here
Crossing the River Tar which flows roughly N-S at this point. There is no evidence of any physical structure. At the time of the inspection the river was c. 0.6m high at this point and flowing quite fast. It is likely that this ford was utilised by the occupants of the castle (TS088-029----) in Frehans townland.
