What is recorded here
Tomard Lower holds a circular granite font in the nave of its church. The stone survives in three detached portions, breaking the vessel into separate arcs rather than one smooth bowl. Water may have filled that circle for centuries, touching infant skin and adult memory alike. Now the gaps admit air, light and imagination, forcing every viewer to complete the shape before understanding what the break changed.
Circular granite font stands in nave of church (CW012-022001-).
